Well, I have a brother and a sister that both play reed instruments and when they sqeek, it makes my spine tingle. Shocked If any of you reed musicians had this problem and conquered it can you please share your methods so I can try to teach them. Wink Thanks!

haha! make sure they tighten their lips when they play, and that they arnt just blowing as hard as they can.

tell them to tuck their teeth in their lower lip and place that part on the base of the reed. for the top, i tuck my teeth in too, but sometimes it could hurt Tongue.

Basically, the way i play, both my lips are curled into my mouth with my teeth tucked into my gums. kinda like when you copy a granny with no teeth Cheesy haha.

but yeah, its that and make sure they really tighten up their mouth muscles!
